An analyst of ratings firm Fitch warned Holland that it is at risk of having its top "AAA" rating cut, due to the increase in the country's debt, according to Daily Telegraph.
"The Dutch are on the edge of a negative rating action", said analyst Chris Pryce, who went on to say: "We will hold a rating committee meeting in June. They run risks if they keep letting debt rise: a cautious approach would be advisable".
Another major ratings firm, Standard & Poor's, warned in January that Holland may lose its "AAA" rating.
