"Franklin Templeton", the manager of the "Proprietatea Fund", recommends the secondary listing of the Fund on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, in Q1 2012, according to a press release sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The secondary listing should be combined with an offer of up to 10% of the existing shares of the Fund.
"After reviewing several international markets, we have shortlisted three exchanges, namely London, Warsaw, and Vienna", the representatives of Franklin Templeton said. They added: "Following detailed investigation, discussions with investment banks and the opinions expressed by institutional investors, the Fund Manager claims that listing the Proprietatea Fund will serve the interest of the Fund"s shareholders" in the long run", the press release sent to the BSE states.
The representatives of the Proprietatea Fund also claim that the Proprietatea Fund would be among the 15 largest companies in terms of size, of the 417 companies listed on the main tier of the Polish Stock Exchange, which would provide it with greater visibility than the London Stock Exchange.
