Cosmetics maker Farmec Cluj-Napoca, has seen its business increase 10% in H1 2010, to 46.7% million lei.
The company announced that its turnover increased thanks to its constant efforts of developing new products, "either by adding to the existing product ranges, or by creating new ones".
In March-April 2010, the company saw its market share increase from 23% in the beginning of the year, to 25.3%, whereas its market share in terms of value also climbed 2%, to 18%.8%, the press release states.
Farmec exports its products in countries such as Japan, Iran, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Holland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Denmark, Jordan, Kuwait, China, South Korea, USA and Australia.
The company was privatized in 1995, through the MEBO method, and has Romanian capital, with all the company"s shares belonging to PAS Farmec (the company"s employee association).
