EnglishNational Energy carrier Transelectrica has announced losses of 25 million lei in Q3 2011, but after the first nine months the net profit of the company reached 153.4 million lei, almost 30 times higher YOY, when it reported a net profit of 5.1 million lei, the financial statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange says.
The company reported an EBITDA of 437.3 million lei, up 72.2% YOY from 253.9 million lei.
During the reviewed period, the company had revenues of 2.07 billion lei, up 7.6% over the amount recorded in the first nine months of the previous year, of 1.93 billion lei, whereas expenses decreased 1,3%, from 1.91 billion lei to 1.89 billion lei.
The company's business increased 7.7%, from 1.81 billion lei to 1.95 billion lei.
At the end of September, Transelectrica had long term debts of 1.12 billion lei, up 14.9% YOY, whereas its short term debt decreased 31.2% to 551.1 million lei.
