Oil Terminal SA Constanta signed services and shipping contracts totaling approximately 50 million RON (14,8 million EUR) with Rompetrol Rafinare Constanta SA and Petrotel-Lukoil SA, according to reports to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Contracts with Rompetrol Rafinare amount to 23,54 million RON, while the contracts concluded with Petrotel-Lukoil total 26,2 million RON. All contracts are valid until the end of the current year.
Oil Terminal concluded 2006 with a preliminary net profit of 2,28 million RON (over 600.000 EUR), down 2,5 times from the corresponding period of the previous year, according to reports sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Last year, the company posted 121,5 million RON in turnover, down 5% from 2005, when the company reported a turnover of 128 million RON.
Oil Terminal shares are listed on the first tier if the Bucharest Stock Exchange as OIL. The company has a share capital of 58,24 million RON. The majority shareholder is the Ministry of Industry and Resources, holding 61,39% in Oil Terminal, while Broadhurst Investments Ltd. Holds 11,66%.
