40 million EUR residential district in Brasov

BSR Europe, part of the Israeli group BSR Engineering and Development, has recently bought in Brasov a building lot of over 30,000 sq.m. The group intends to develop here a residential area, the investment being estimated at over 40 million EUR. The price for the piece of land is 5,1 million EUR, this being the first investement the Israeli company has made in Brasov.

BSR Europe has also purchased an area of land of 79.000 sq.m. in Bulgaria, in the amount of 37 million EUR. The Israeli developer will invest 200 million EUR in Bulgaria for the construction of a 230.000 sq.m. project, which will include residential spaces, office spaces, but also a shopping mall.

The Israeli group is developing three more residential projects in Romania - one in the Pantelimon district, where the company will invest around 80 million EUR for the construction of 1.000-1.100 apartments, one near the Botanical Garden, which will represent an investment of 100 million EUR, and the third one is being developed in the Militari area. This one will be named West Park, the investment being estimated at 60 million EUR, for the construction of over 900 apartments. BSR Romania operates in six contries in Central and Eastern Europe - Romania, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.

The Israeli group was founded in 1963 and is the developer of several office and luxury residential spaces, in Israel and abroad. The main shareholder of BSR Engineering is business man Eitan Eldar, the owner of Euro Habitat.
