700,000 EUR For Tuborg Parties In 2009

United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) has allocated a budget of 700,000 EUR for the Tuborg Parties in 2009, according to URBB officials attending the launching of the Tuborg Green Fest, scheduled to take place in Izvor Park, Bucharest, on 4-6 September. The investment includes musical parties organized in clubs and at the seaside, promotional activities and the Tuborg Green Fest.

The festival will be attended by over 60 Romanian and international artists, who will perform for a total of over 30 hours on the main stage and in the Silent Disco Arena of the Tuborg Green Fest.

• The Tuborg Green Fest preparations

Preparations for the Tuborg Green Fest took 5 months and a team of 50 people. The organizers have booked no less than 40 rooms at several 4-star hotels in Bucharest for the foreign artists who will perform in Izvor Park. The backstage area will include 30 cabins for the artists and 5 production rooms for their staff. An inventory of 60 tables, 120 chairs, 20 couches and approximately 20 full-body mirrors will be deployed in the backstage area.

The playbill of the festival includes the Chicane, Guano Apes, The Herbaliser, The Crystal Method, Zdob & Zdub, Suie Paparude, AB4, Vita de Vie, Sensor, Mandinga, Publika and Stefan Banica.

Organizers promise that the festival will give fans the opportunity to enjoy 15 international beer brands, such as Jacobson, Guinness and Carlsberg Elephant. An audience of over 50,000 is expected to participate in the event and enjoy approximately 1,000 kegs of 25 litres of beer per day, the organizers said.
