Banned for audiences under the age of 30

The journalist Sorin Rosca Stanescu yesterday published on the Internet a text accusing President Traian Basescu and his brother, Mircea Basescu, of being deeply involved in arms trafficking.

Additionally, Sorin Rosca Stanescu claims that Traian Basescu has ordered massive changes in the special services in order to cover up all the information about arms operations.

Sorin Rosca Stanescu does not present any proof of his accusations, but says that proof exists in various reports, recordings and documents.

Sorin Rosca Stanescu also says that he will manage his disclosures himself and that this is just the first step (which he did not take without perils, as he mentioned).

The extensive text published by Sorin Rosca Stanescu is summarized below in three paragraphs.

The summary of Sorin Rosca Stanescu"s accusations

1. Mircea Basescu oversaw the unloading in Constanta Harbour of five ships carrying munitions and explosives from Thailand under a contract with Romarm S.A. The cargo was bound for the Babeni Military Base in Valcea, which, instead of destroying it, repackaged it and exported by sea through a company called Romagro Cereal SRL. This operation, too, was supervised by Mircea Basescu.

2. The Interpol office in Brussels suspects that Romagro Cereal SRL directed 12 million EUR to two terrorist organizations and has asked the Romanian authorities to investigate Bakri Imad Abul Reda, who holds 70% in Romagro Cereal SRL. The investigation revealed that this person supplied arms and money to Hezbollah and imported arms for the terrorist organization UNITA in Angola via Congo.

3. After being informed about this by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate and the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), Traian Basescu decided to cover up these operations by ordering the termination of any further action by the General Directorate for Intelligence and Internal Protection (DGIPI), suspended all the DGIPI directors, ordered the arrest of DGIPI commander Cornel Serban together with Puiu Popoviciu (in a scandal that he used as camouflage for the real purpose of getting rid of Serban) and ordered the transfer of current archives from the Communications Division, the Intelligence Division and the Surveillance Division in order to ensure the recovery of all the files mentioning the brother of the President of Romania. Additionally, he decimated the intelligence service of the Army and the related directorates using the scandal of the weapons stolen from the military base in Ciorogarla as an excuse.

"BURSA" EDITORIAL NOTE

Of course, in the absence of any proof to substantiate the accusations made by Sorin Rosca Stanescu, his text should be taken on a "for information" basis.

We recall that the "arms scandal" is taking place in the world of the intelligence services, where black can become bright white and white can become pitch black from one moment to the next.

For instance, if what Sorin Rosca Stanescu said yesterday is true, then the Judas of the day before yesterday - (Aurel Cazacu, for whom a treason scenario can be built coherently), the one who confirmed the intent to commit trafficking in influence through Mircea Basescu - becomes a national hero tomorrow.

We warned from the very beginning about this characteristic of this scandal.

Persons under the age of thirty should be prohibited from watching, unless their parents are around.

Otherwise, they may lose the ability to think for themselves...
