The listing of "Pro Vorbas" on the ATS cost less than 2000 Euros

Federico Salmoiraghi: "We see our listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as a good opportunity for promotion"

Gunter Woinar, Transilvania Capital: "Success stories come from small companies"

Cleaning company "Pro Vorbas" yesterday began being traded on the ATS category of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, which makes it the first Romanian company listed on the alternative trading system.

"The listing on the Stock Exchange is a good opportunity for us to promote the company", Federico Salmoiraghi, the president of the company said yesterday.

Since the costs for entering the ATS were a lot lower compared to other stock exchanges - approximately 2000 Euros, including the broker's fee, the CNVM fees and the lawyers - Federico Salmoiraghi considers that the listing is far more effective than a press marketing campaign.

According to him, "Pro Vorbas" is not interested in raising capital using the stock exchange, for now.

The representatives of the BSE say that they have cut costs, precisely to attract companies and to develop the ATS market.

"The listing means we are transparent and that a company can more easily identify us as a partner", the CEO of the company said.

"Pro Vorbas" wants to ensure a "free-float" of up to 25% in the first year.

The president of the company announced that the company plans to distribute 75% of its profit as dividends this year.

In 2011, the company posted losses of 113,921 lei, but it intends to make a profit of 399,158 lei this year. Its turnover was 1.43 million lei in 2011, and it expects an increase of 27.2% in 2012

"We are hoping that within five years we will reach a turnover of 3 million Euros", the CEO of "Pro Vorbas" said, who also mentioned that he has plans to expand operations across the country.

"Pro Vorbas" provides cleaning services, professional cleaning and maintenance for hotels, offices, commercial cleaning, warehouse and production hangar cleaning, general cleaning after completion of construction or landscaping, maintenance of green areas, snow removal and rope access.

The company has a social liability insurance policy for protection against any damages occurring during the interventions of its teams.

The company has a share capital of 90,000 lei, divided into shares with a face value of 0.10 lei. The shareholders are Deborha Gambacorta, with a stake of 75%, Denisa Ştefan, with 20% and Anca Lepchihler, with a stake of 5%.

Gunter Woinar: "It is the brokers' task to find companies for getting listed, not that of the Stock Exchange"

Success stories come from small companies, considers Gunter Woinar, the president of "Transilvania Capital", the broker who handled bringing "Pro Vorbas" to the ATS. "Let's remember what Microsoft was 25 years ago", he said. In his opinion, investors shouldn't overlook small companies, which have a shot at growth.

Gunter Woinar hopes that "Transilvania Capital" will become one of the main partners of the small companies looking to get listed.

In his opinion, it is the brokers' task to find companies for getting listed, not that of the Stock Exchange.

Bogdan Ceuca, head of trading at the brokerage firm, said that he is also negotiating with other companies in order to get them listed on the BSE. He said that he wishes other brokerage firm followed in the footsteps of "Transilvania Capital".

Victor Cionga: "Niches are the only way we can be successful"

The Bucharest Stock Exchange needs to focus on a niche of listings of 20-60 million Euros, the CEO of the BSE, Victor Cionga, considers.

"We are in a regional competition and we need to understand what we can and can't do", he said, and he went on to say: "We can only be successful on niches. The Bucharest Stock Exchange must focus on a niche of listings, with valuations between 20 and 70 million Euros, to become competitive. We need to try and become attractive enough so that later we may attract companies from other markets".

Victor Cionga considers that the state owned companies shouldn't be listed on a foreign stock exchange, aside from the BSE.
