ABN AMRO Bank is the first bank in Romania to introduce "Business Banking," an integrated online service designed for medium-sized companies, according to Country Executive Peter M. Weiss. The introduction of Business Banking comes as a result of increasing demand for such services on an increasingly stronger market, said Head of Business Banking Europe Marco Bosma.

The new service offered by ABN AMRO Romania enables customers to perform financial transactions through the Business Banking Online portal irrespective of the time of day or location. Customers can manage their daily bank transactions, including payments and currency exchange. "The new service reduces the time and effort that the customer is required to allocate to their banking activities and enables companies to focus on managing the business growth," said Business Customer Director Daphne Van Hoorn. According to Head of Business Banking ABN AMRO Romania Luis Moralis, the service entails a monthly fee of 15 EUR.

The services simplifies banking activities on the customer"s side, ensures security through a set of passwords and digipass terminals and enables users to access a unique model of cost and consultancy from the Customer Relationship Management Department of the bank.
