Adrian Năstase was the professor who supervised the PhD thesis of Victor Ponta.

Adrian Năstase gets sentenced to jail ands tries to commit suicide.

Victor Ponta gets accused of plagiarism (copy/paste) and he laughs.

The song "Adrian Năstase isn't dead gets launched":

Case 1: the bullet goes straight through the throat of Năstase.

Case 2: the bullet misses the throat of Năstase by 8 centimeters.

The Parliament decides that Ponta should be the one to represent us in Brussels.

The Constitutional Court confirms, using copy/paste, that Brussels starts with a "B" from Băsescu, and it's not called Prussels, with "P" from Ponta.

Victor Ponta just laughs it off, takes Băsescu off the list of the Romanian delegation supposed to leave for Brussels, and includes himself on the list (using copy/paste again).

The USL passes through the Parliament a law which no longer allows the Constitutional Court to issue rulings on the decisions of the Parliament.

Ponta is laughing.

The government takes control of the Official Gazette, so it is not required to publish its decision.

Victor Ponta is laughing.

Internal affairs minister Ioan Rus says that Năstase is not a prisoner yet, he is a patient ("Adrian Năstase isn't dead").

The doctors of Floreasca say he will suffer a heart attack if he gets taken to the Rahova prison (but, no, he isn't dead).

The oldest son of Adrian Năstase, Andrei, no longer reads the political will of his father, which would have shaken up the political system and which severely puts the younger son, Mihnea Năstase at a disadvantage (see box).

Victor Ponta says he only plagiarized (copy/pasted) 30 pages: "Sure I used those books as inspiration sources, you can't come up with new things in the field of Law. I plagiarized 30 pages; out of 410, it is an achievement nevertheless."

The doctors of Floreasca are charged with abetting a criminal.

The police takes Năstase away from Floreasca and takes him to Rahova.

Adrian Năstase isn't dead.

Ponta leaves for Brussels and places his signature himself, illegitimately on the European documents.

While in Brussels, Ponta says that he will resign if its gets confirmed that he plagiarized.

Ioan Rus says that everyone after Aristotle is guilty of plagiarism (we have such a refined minister of foreign affairs that he's heard of Aristotle - see NOTE 1).

The National Council of Certification of University Titles, Degrees and Certificates (CNATDCU) finds that Ponta plagiarized 85 pages (copy/paste).

Ponta doesn't resign.

The Ministry of Education takes away the role of the CNATDCU to verify the PhD theses.

Victor Ponta is laughing.

In a press release, the PSD says that all of the members of the CNATDCU are members of the PDL and received grants from Funeriu; the members of the Commission deny the charge.

The proposed Minister of Education Ecaterina Andronescu says she doesn't accept the interference of politicians in the field of education and (and in another case of copy/paste) the Chancellor of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, Remus Pricopie (vice-president of the Department of Education of the PSD) says: "The CNATDCU does not want to include an item on the agenda for which there is no point of view expressed by the legal department of the Ministry Education".

Ponta is laughing.

Adrian Năstase did not die.

Nor did Dan Spataru (ed. note: former Romanian singer, now dead).

NOTE 1

For those who don't know, the song "Dan Spătaru" by Boier Bibescu vs. Don Baxter is available on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhMQfYKb5UE/ The song only has two lyrics: "Piesa asta este hit / Dan Spătaru n-a murit" ("This song is a hit/Dan Spătaru isn't dead").

NOTE 2

About Aristotle, Immanuel Kant said that he has invented the science of logic out of nothing, making it perfect and complete from the start, so that for two years it was impossible to add anything to it, meaning that, in the Middle Ages, the Aristotelian Organon was only commented on, without seeing any further additions.

It is most likely the idea which the Minister of Internal Affairs relies on when trying to sound smart, by copy/pasting from Kant.

I would advise Ioan Rus to stop getting involved in things which do not concern him.

In reality, Kant is wrong.

The logic of Aristotle wasn't created out of nothing, but rather out of a strong concern which has always been around, for the forms of correct thinking.

Aristotel was in a serious rivalry of ideas with Chrysipos, the author of a different logic system, which was (apparently) probabilistic, whose works were systematically destroyed by the Christian Church, who owed a debt to Aristotle even though he was a pagan, as his logic was used by Thomas of Aquino to support the idea of the existence of God.

Diogenes Laertius also praises Chrysipos: "The logic of Aristotle is brilliant, but that of Chrysipos is divine".

The logic of Chrysipos hasn't been lost completely, but the only clues about are found in the works of ...Aristotle himself, who was forced to quote his arguments, to be able to refute them.

Today, there are other systems of logic being proposed, with several truth values, modal, probabilistic, intuitionist logic systems.

No, Mr. Rus, not everybody plagiarizes - some people take education seriously and they invent rather than plagiarize.
