EnglishThe Association of Romanian Aerated Autoclave Concrete makers of Romania "PRO BCA" supports the continuation of the "First Home" program, and considers this measure as being beneficial for the recovery of the real estate market and for the partial unlocking of the market for new constructions. In a press release, the officials of the Association consider that the "First Home" program should target the buyers of new homes and that the minimum guarantee should be raised to 100,000 Euros. This will prevent the discrimination of certain home buyers and would favor the use of superior construction materials in the development of the new buildings. The relaunch of the program in a new formula needs to be carefully reviewed in order to ensure its continuity and long term viability.
