EnglishAircraft builder Aerostar Bacau last year posted 140.976.614 RON in turnover and a net profit of 13.450.668 RON, which is almost double compared to 2005, when the company reported a net profit of 7.151.123 RON.
The company expects to reach a turnover of 200 million RON by 2010 and plans to increase exports, counting on the expansion of the foreign aeronautic market. The investments planned for the current year amount to 6,5 million RON.
Aerostar has a share capital of 29.284.132,50 RON and is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 1998. The company operates mainly on the aeronautic and defense market, providing services and products in this field. Due to the variety of its products and services, Aerostar has clients in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa. In the past few years, exports accounted for a significant percentage of the company"s turnover.
