Aircraft manufacturer Aerostar Bacau reported a net profit of 168.268 RON for the first quarter of 2007, declining 12,3 times from the same period last year, when net profit amounted to 197 million RON, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange quoted by NewsIn.
Q1 turnover totaled 24,29 million RON, gaining 0,74% from the similar period last year. In 2006, the company doubled its net profit, which amounted to 13,45 million RON (3,9 million EUR). Aerostar"s 2006 turnover totaled 140,97 million RON, gaining 37% from the same period last year, when the company 102,73 million RON in turnover. For the current year, the company expects turnover to reach 131,5 million RON (38,33 million EUR), while net profit should amount to 10,17 million RON.
Aerostar has a share capital of 29,284 million RON, divided into 11,7 million shares with a face value of 2,5 RON. The majority shareholder is Iarom SA, with 71,09% in the company, followed by SIF Moldova with 11,14%.
