The shareholders of Aerostar Bacău (ARS) approved for the company to distribute dividends worth 32 million lei, from last year's profit of 93 million lei, according to the aeronautical company's report published, at the end of last week, on the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange ( BVB).
The unit dividend is 0.21 lei, which, compared to the price of the ARS share on Friday in the first part of the trading session, 9.2 lei, is equivalent to a gross yield of 2.3%. The registration date, which defines the investors who will benefit from dividends, is May 8, with payments to be made starting from May 30.
For last year, the company achieved operating income of 533 million lei, up 12.5% compared to 2022, due primarily to the increase in sales income, which amounted to 506.3 million lei. For this year, the company has budgeted revenues of 539.9 million lei and a net profit of 48.6 million lei.
In mid-January, Aerostar and Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company, announced the inauguration of the first certified maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service center for the S-70 Black Hawk helicopter in Bacău.
Aerostar Bacău, an issuer whose stock market valuation amounts to approximately 1.4 billion lei, is 71.5% owned by Iarom Bucharest, while Evergent Investments had 15.2% of the company.
