Shareholders in Agricover approved the sale of the oil mill in Buzau. The price will be negotiated, the accounting price having been reduced from 34,5 million RON (1,01 million EUR) to 23,9 million RON (708.000 EUR) on December 31st 2006, according to the Official Gazette, quoted by NewsIn. The Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders in Agricover decided to sell the oil mill, following which, representatives of the administrative council will decide on a price for a possible transaction. In the same meeting, shareholders also decided to buy 920 shares in Suntory Agrochemical, for 7.298.08 RON each.
Buzau-based company SC Agricover was founded in 1998 and it operates in the cereal industry, providing services related to cereal handling and storage, agricultural cultivation, vegetal oil production and trade. SC Agricover is the only vegetal oil manufacturer in Buzau county, owning the Oil Mill in Buzau. The company"s main brands are Soreanca and Ulvex.
