Aker Braila Exports 90% of Its Output

Aker Braila shipyard has made investments totalling 16.250.690 EUR between 2003 and 2006. In 2007, the company plans to invest 2.500.000 EUR in order to modernize technological processes, increase production capacity and improve working conditions.

The company exports nearly 90% of its output, 99% of exported goods being sold on the Norwegian market. Aker Braila"s export revenues reached 33.849.750 EUR in 2006, its main foreign customers being Norwegian compoanies Aker Langsten, Aker Brevik Construction AS, Kvaerner Egersund, Aker Aukra, according to CEO Florinel Flor. For 2007, the company expects a turnover of 70.865.000 Eur, total revenues of 87.751.000 EUR and a gross profit of 626.000 EUR.

Aker Braila shares are listed on Tier I of Rasdaq as of November 12th 1996, under the symbol SNBB. The company has a share capital of 49,7 million RON, divided into shares with a face value of 2,5 RON.
