Albalact Alba Iulia has appointed Cristina Miclea, the brand manager for the Fulga and Zuzu brands as Marketing Director. Over the last four years, Cristina Miclea has handled the implementation of the campaigns for the promotion of the two brands. She has over ten years of experience in marketing, in companies such as Sanex Cluj Napoca, MOL Romania, Bravo Group Import Export and A&D Pharma.
Cristina Miclea has been working with Albalact since 2006 and has coordinated branding and advertising campaigns, consumer habit and attitude research projects and activities for the launching of new products.
The company in the county of Alba was incorporated in 1971 and was privatized in 1999. Last year, the company bought 93.6% of the shares of Rarăul Câmpulung Moldovenesc. The company sells pasteurized and UHT milk products with the brands Fulga, Zuzu, Albalact and Rarăul. The company employs over 500 employees.
The most important shareholders of Albalact are Petru Ciurtin, who holds 31.73%, the investment fund RC2 Limited, which owns 25.44% of the company and the company"s president and general manager, Raul Ciurtin (who owns 14.98%).
