The energy supplier Alive Capital completed the acquisition of Da Vinci New Project, according to a company announcement published yesterday on the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
According to the document, Da Vinci is in the midst of developing a photovoltaic park located in the town of Nanov, Teleorman county, with a maximum capacity of 23.1 MW and owns the surface rights over two plots of land with an area of 80,000 square meters and respectively of 167,500 square meters on which the park will be built.
Also, Da Vinci has submitted a project for obtaining financing through the National Recovery and Resilience Program, which also includes the development of a system for storing the energy produced with a capacity of up to 4.62 MW.
Recently, Alive Capial completed the acquisition of the company All Colors Project Energy, which owns a photovoltaic park located in Urlaţi, Prahova county, with an approved capacity for evacuation and a total installed capacity of 2 MW, as well as three plots of land with a total area of over 40,000 meters squares.
Alive Capital has listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange a bond issue worth ten million lei, the maturity of which is next month. The securities have a nominal value of 100 lei and a fixed annual interest rate of 8%. For the first six months of this year, the company reported operating income of 473.8 million lei, 60% higher than in the same period last year, while operating expenses amounted to 405.4 million lei. lei, double compared to those in the January-June 2022 period. In these conditions, Alive Capital recorded a 30% decrease in the operating result, up to 68.4 million lei, while the net profit was 61, 6 million lei, 32% below that of the first six months of last year.
EMMA Capital's Czech-owned Premier Energy owns 51% of Alive Capital, while Omnia Capital BV has 49% of the electricity and integrated services provider for the electricity market.
