All BVB Indexes Decline

The BET Index, reflecting the performance of the ten most liquid shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), lost 0.02% yesterday to 3618.96 points, while the BET-FI, reflecting the shares in the five financial investment firms (SIFs), lost 0.44% to 17467.26 points. The composite BET-C index, reflecting all the shares listed on the BVB, decreased by 0.56% to 2701.47 points. BET-XT, reflecting the 25 most liquid shares on BVB, decreased by 0.44% to 353.27 points, while the BET-NG, reflecting the performance of the shares in the ten energy companies listed on BVB, lost 1.96% to 481.75 points. The overall liquidity of BVB amounted to 30.25 million RON yesterday, slightly more than on Wednesday. Shares in BRD - Groupe Societe Generale (BVB:BRD) were the most liquid, with the overall value of the transactions reaching 6.56 million RON. Some 757,837 shares were traded. The reference quotation increased by 5.98% to 8.66%. SIF5 Oltenia shares were also very liquid, as 5.7 million of them traded for 4.6 million RON, making an average of 0.807 RON/share. Petrom (BVB:SNP) dropped 8.33% to 0.22 RON/share following transactions worth 4.53 million RON. Shares in SIF2 Moldova decreased by 0.65% to 0.698 RON after 5.65 million shares were sold for 3.94 million RON. Some 4.98 million shares in Rompetrol Rafinare Constanta (BVB:RRC) sold for an average of 0.0307 RON/share. The reference quotation decreased by 1.87% from the previous day. Policolor (BVB:PCL) dropped 12.33% to 4.076 RON, while Sinteza (BVB:STZ) lost 14.95% to 0.313 RON/share.
