EnglishCar parts manufacturer Altur Slatina, listed on BSE, cut its losses by 34% to 916.627 RON in the first quarter. Turnover totaled 26.4 million RON, increasing by 20,7% compared with the same period last year, according to a company press release quoted by NewsIn.
For this year, the company expects a gross profit of 800.000 RON, while revenue is estimated at 102.57 million RON, up 4% from 2006. Expenses are expected to amount to 101.77 million RON, down 1% from last year.
In 2006, Altur Slatina reduced its losses by 29%, from 5,99 million RON in 2005 to 4.24 million RON. Turnover rose by 38.4% yoy, totaling 97.38 million RON. The company has a share capital of 26.76 million RON, divided into 267.63 million shares with a face value of 0.10 RON. The majority shareholder is SIF Oltenia with 85.22% in the company.
