Alumil Group Posts 7,5 Mln EUR in Net Profit

In 2006, Alumil Group sales grew by 28.6% t 243 million EUR, EBITDA increased by 24.6% to 39.5 million EUR, while net earnings AT&M boosted 75.5% to 7.5 million EUR. The company"s turnover increased by 28.6% in 2006, reaching 243.7 million EUR , compared to 189.4 million EUR in 2005. The growth is due to architectural and industrial profiles sales, automation systems, shading systems, polycarbonate sheets and composite panels sales. Growth continues with significant rate for the first quarter of 2007 as well. Consequently, earnings per share reached 0.34 EUR (from 0.19 EUR in 2005). Investments for 2006 reached 22 million EUR, accounting for new warehouses in the Balkans and production capacity upgrading.

Parent company sales increased by 22.3%, reaching 189.4 million EUR., compared to 154.8 million EUR in 2005. Net earnings climbed to 5.2 million EUR, compared to 3.47 million EUR in 2005, increasing by 51%. The Alumil Board of Directors will recommend to the Annual General Shareholders" Meeting a 0.083 EUR/share dividend payout, amounting to 1.83 million EUR.

In 2006, Alumil was a market leader in Serbia and Albania. The company also established a new subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates, in order to strengthen its presence in the wider area. In addition, growth in Romania, Turkey and Bulgaria consist another dynamic parameter the following years, having the Balkans" markets comprising more than 40% of total Group turnover.The Group expects Alumil Rom, the Romanian subsidiary, to be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) in mid-April.
