The shareholders of the producer of aluminum profiles Alumil Rom Industry (ALU) are summoned, on April 26, with the proposal to distribute a dividend of 0.2 lei per share, according to a company report published on Friday on the website of the Stock Exchange Bucharest (BVB).
The total value of the amount that would go to the shareholders, if the proposal gets the green light in the ALU, is 6.25 million lei, equivalent to approximately 95% of the preliminary profit reported by the company for last year, of 6.51 million lei. Relative to the ALU share price on Friday afternoon, of 2.47 lei, the dividend proposal of the management of Alumil Rom Industry is equivalent to a gross yield of 8%. The record date, which defines the shareholders who will benefit from the dividends, is July 8, while the proposed payment date is July 25.
Also on the agenda is the revocation of the mandate of Michail Sotiriou as company president and board member, as well as the appointment of Georgios Mylonas as president.
For last year, Alumil Rom Industry reported revenues of 118.1 million lei, 8% above those of the previous year, while the profit was similar to that of 2022. At the end of last year, Alumil Aluminum Industry held 55.9% of the shares of Alumil Rom Industry, while Sotiriou Michail had a stake of 23.95% of the company's share capital, whose capitalization amounts to approximately 85 million lei.
