AMO Press Grup announced the creation of a new division in order to pursue the expansion of the group into the fashion retail business: AMO Retail. The investment in this segment began with bringing the master franchise of "NO NAME - Athens"- Greece to Romania.
The company opened the first Romanian "NO NAME - Athens" outlet in Bucharest, in the Liberty Center mall, in November 2008. The store has a surface of 143 sqm. Based on sales estimates, the initial investment will be recovered in seven months.
"We are happy that we succeeded in bringing to Romania a brand like NO NAME Athens, which has tradition abroad. The initial investment in the first Romanian concept store, the second largest on an international level, will be somewhere in the EUR 200,000 - EUR 300,000 range, on a par with the brand and its values", said Manuel Onofrei, General Manager of AMO Press Grup.
The company plans to open at least two stores a year, with an estimated investment of EUR 500,000 in infrastructure and initial inventory. For the second half of 2009, "NO NAME - Athens" plans to invest in expanding the number of stores in Bucharest.
