SC Aviatia Utilitara SA - Bucharest (AU) believes the project to merge CN Aeroportul International Henri Coanda - Bucharest (OTN) with SN Aeroportul International Aurel Vlaicu - Bucharest (BBU) is illegal. The OTN assets to be merged include assets that are currently property of AU, according to a press release by the latter.
Specifically, AU claims to own 89,830 sq.m. of the 387,514.68 sq.m. stated as property BBU. AU announced that the respective land had been assigned to their property by a Supreme Court ruling two months before the initiation of the project. Further on, they believe the land is worth 134,745,000 EUR.
