Banca Comercială Carpatica increased its share capital by 23,87 million RON to 139,6 million RON, following the closing of the subscription period on January 19th, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by NewsIn. Shareholders subscribed for shares worth 23,87 million RON, that is 99,46% of the 240 million shares issued.
The new share capital of Carpatica is 139,6 million RON (41,6 million EUR), divided into 1,396 million shares with a face value of 0,10 RON. The main shareholders in the bank are Ilie Carabulea (35,79%), Aurel Albu (9,98%), Corneliu Tănase (9,83%), Lucio Olivo (7,86%) and Gian Antonio Olivo (6,53%).
Banca Comerciala Carpatica has a capitalisation of 717,56 million RON.
The bank"s Management Board will propose to shareholders another share capital increase by 23,08 million RON, by capitalising 58% of the bank"s net profit for 2006 (11,15 million RON) and using the issue premiums resulting from the share capital increase in January. Following this increase, Carpatica would reach a share capital of nearly 163 million RON. In 2006, Banca Comerciala Carpatica posted 19,08 million RON (5,64 million EUR) in net profit, up 7,65% year-on-year.
