Banca Transilvania has given 400 loans totalling 14.8 million EUR to medical professionals through a dedicated division. The project is supported by the Romanian Medical Doctors" Association and is intended to encourage the development of private medical practices. The dedicated division was launched four months ago and services both individual doctors and medical service companies.
Banca Transilvania"s offer includes special product packages such as Rezident, Specialist and Praxis, as well as financial and accounting consultancy. Dedicated branches have been set up in Cluj Napoca, Iasi, Targu Mures and Oradea. According to President Robert Rekkers, the team of consultants dedicated to medical customers will reach 125 members by the year-end. Further plans include the opening of dedicated branches in Craiova, Timisoara and Bucharest.
