EnglishBanca Transilvania reported gross profit of 36,44 million RON for the first three months of 2007, gaining 1,19% from the similar period last year. Revenue amounted to 168,05 million RON, up 1,39% compared to the same period last year. Expenses increased by 1,44%, totaling 116,15 million RON.
Presently, Banca Transilvania operates 350 units and has approximately 4.500 employees. With a 4,7 % market share, Banca Transilvania ranks among the ten largest banks in Romania, being the first financial institution listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in 1997.
