CA-IB Securities, the brokerage division of Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA), on Wednesday sold 4.94% in IT & appliances retailer Flamingo International (BSE:FLA) through a special deal worth 14.05 million RON (3.92 million EUR). CA-IB Securities sold 38.5 million FLA shares for 0.356 RON, by 8.96% more than the closing price a day before. The deal points to a market capitalization of 284.35 million RON (79.3 million EUR) for Flamingo International.
Flamingo International has a share capital of 77.9 million RON divided into 779 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. According to end-October data, Dragos Cinca holds 30.14% of the company, followed by QVT Fund with 14.16%, Flanco Holding Ltd. with 10.59%, Gustavia Capital Management AB - Stockholm with 5.13% and Hansa Ida Europa Aktsia Fond with 8.27%. Flamingo International concluded the first 9 months of the year with over 100 million EUR in turnover and estimates annual sales at some 165 million EUR. Estimates for this year point to an EBITDA of 5.51 million EUR, up from y/y operational losses of 14.3 million EUR.
