EnglishEuropean officials that are facing the sovereign debt issue should not give up on the idea of launching common Eurozone bonds and they should develop integrated instruments in order to make this possible, even if Germany is against the idea, the president of the European Commission Jose Barroso says.
"The commission thinks that this option should be reviewed", said Barroso, in an interview with Bloomberg. The European official added: "We are not saying we should act right away. This is a matter that needs to be discussed, but we are not ruling out this option".
