EnglishFreight forwarder Bat Medias plans to increase its share capital by 6.99 million RON to 10.5 million RON through cash injection, according to a report to Rasdaq. The company will issue approximately 2.8 million shares with a face value of 2.50 RON, equal to the subscription price.
Bat Medias posted a net profit of 5.07 million RON in the first half of 2007, up six times from 868,000 RON in the same period last year, sustained by a financial profit of 3.38 million RON. Turnover amounted to 8.35 million RON (2.66 million EUR), recording a 35.33% increase from 6.17 million RON in H1/07.
Earlier this year, Bat Medias increased its share capital by 2.2 million RON. The company has a share capital of 3.49 million RON, divided into 1.4 million shares with a face value of 2.50 RON. The majority shareholder is Florin Muntean with 72.52% in the company, followed by SIF Transilvania (SIF3) with 13.87%. The company is listed on Rasdaq as BAME.
