Customers to the BCR Pension Fund are now able to check their account status through a web interface. "The site creates a first contact between us and Fund customers, potential customers and marketing agencies," said Simona Ditescu, CEO of BCR Pension Fund Management.
The information available on the web interface includes: total Fund assets, net fund assets, customer personal assets (the total sum of the customer contributions), Fund unit value upon purchase by the customer and the number of Fund units bought by the customer.
"The novelty is that everyone who subscribed to BCR Pension Fund, a mandatory private pension fund, is now able to check their account. They will have a username and a password and log in to have a real time view of their assets. The information will be updated monthly," Ditescu added.
The interface also offer historical data for the previous six months. The use of the web interface is free of charge. BCR Pension Fund Management currently has 151,137 customers and ranks first among the pension fund management firms controlled by banks.
