Chemicals producer Bega Chim SA Timsoara will contract a 3.3 million EUR loan from Piraeus Bank Romania, according to a company announcement quoted by NewsIn. Shareholders have decided that, from he total amount borrowed from Piraeus Bank, 2.3 million EUR will be used for the acquisition of two parcels of land located in Timisoara, whilw the remaining 1 million EUR will be used to refinance a loan granted to Bega Chim by HVB-Tiriac Bank. The company will guarantee the loan by some of its fixed assets.
Bega Chim is part of Timisoara-based este Bega Grup, which comprises some 30 companies active in fields such as tourism, retail, real estate, building materials, electric engines, chemicals. The group is controled by businessmen Marius and Emil Cristescu.
