The BET index, which shows the evolution of the ten most liquid shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) gained 2.01, reaching 4,761.66 points. The highest increase was recorded for the BET-FI index, with 2.17% to28,700.05 points, whilst, on Monday, the composite index BET-C increased by 1.92% to 3,600.66 points. BET-XT, the index of the most liquid 25 shares on BVB, increased by 2.08% to 501,56 points. The BET-NG index, which indicates the evolution of ten electric companies , recorded an increase by 0.29% to 683.83 points. The total value of the transactions performed yesterday diminished by 39.41%, from Friday, reaching 35.75 million lei. The statistic for yesterday also indicates that 133 transactions with 15,624 units of STK Emergent (STK) funds worth 1.73 million lei were concluded.
Shares in SIF Oltenia were the most liquid on the market, with transactions of 5.93 million lei, a total amount of 3.97 million shares being traded. The reference market quotation increased by 2.05% to 1.49lei. Shares in SIF Moldova (SIF 2) were also some of the most liquid on the market. Yesterday, 3.03 million shares with a value of 4.25 million lei were traded. SIF2 shares increased by 2.21%, reaching 1.39 lei. In the banking area, BRD - Groupe Societe Generale (BRD) shares gained 5.22% to 14.1 lei. Shares in Erste Bank (EBS), listed in the International Tier, increased by 2.12% to 154.1 lei. Altogether, 22,191 shares of 3.44 million lei were traded. Shares in Zentiva Bucharest (SCD) recorded the biggest increase: 13.98% to 0.53 lei. Also, yesterday, shares in UAMT - Oradea (UAM), recorded a 12% devaluation to 0.44 lei.
