The Bistrita Mayoralty is paying 0.1938 RON interest on the 12th coupon and the last installment of 8.3337 RON towards the redemption of the municipal bonds as of February 18th, according to an announcement to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE).
The interest rate for the 12th coupon has been calculated at 9% per year. All payments are to be made through BCR Securities. Only holders registered as such by February 13th, 2008 are eligible. Payments will be made between February 18th - 26th, after which date the funds will be available at BCR Securities.
The Bistrita Municipality issued 31,000 bonds on April 29th, 2005. The due date is February 16th, 2008. The overall value is 3.1 million RON.
