Bucharest may suffer from an overproduction of office space in 2008 - 2009, according to an analysis by Immorent. Nevertheless, analysts estimate that the market will manage to absorb the new projects in a few years, which will align Bucharest to other European capitals such as Vienna, Prague and Budapest.
The residential market is another matter of interest due to outstanding growth year after year. The main development areas in Bucharest that Immorent Romania is focusing on are the north (Baneasa, Pipera, Floreasca, Aviatiei, Herastrau and DN1), the west (Militari for commercial and logistic areas) and the center (Charles de Gaulle, Aviatorilor, Victoriei, Romana, Universitatii are nearby streets). Outside Bucharest, the company is interested in Cluj Napoca, Timisoara and Iasi. Immorent Romania is part of Immorent Aktiengesellschaft, which is part of Erste Bank Group.
