Bucovina-Club de Munte wants to give up the tourist activity

• SIF Muntenia owns 74% of the company
The shareholders of Bucovina-Club de Munte are summoned, on April 8, to approve the transfer of the company's hotel and tourism activity, according to a company report published yesterday on the website of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
In other words, the company wants to sell the Best Western Bucovina hotel in Gura Humorului and the Ariniş tourist inn in the same locality, as well as all the equipment, furniture, stocks, contracts, titles, rights and liabilities related to the hotel and tourist activity of Bucovina-Club de Munte, for a minimum price equal to the equivalent in lei of the amount of almost 2.78 million euros.
The four-star Best Western Bucovina hotel is the main asset of the company, which has been operating since 2002. The hotel has 127 rooms with 220 accommodation places, two restaurants with 180 and 60 seats, seven conference rooms with capacities between 25 and 280 seats, a lobby bar with 60 seats, two terraces, one of which is summer, and a SPA area. The Ariniş Inn is located in the Ariniş Park and has a terrace with a capacity of 140 seats, according to the company's latest annual report.
Also on April 8, the shareholders of Bucovina-Club de Munte will have on the table the approval of the authorization of the Board of Directors of the company to establish the procedure and contractual clauses regarding the transfer of the hotel and tourist activity to a buyer, the establishment of the final transfer price in compliance with the minimum value decided by the shareholders, the determination of the assets and liabilities to be transferred and other details of the possible transaction.
For the past year, Bucovina-Club de Munte reported a loss of 0.79 million lei, compared to a small profit in 2022, while revenues from tourist services amounted to 9.34 million lei, 13% above those of the previous year. SIF Muntenia owns 74% of the tourism profit company from Gura Humorului.
