The mayoralty of the city of Brăila announced, for June 7, a call for tenders for the awarding of the contract for the modernization of the Dorobanţi Boulevard in the city. The total value of the investment is 100.27 million lei, works which will be financed by the local budget, as well as using European funds. According to the announcement published on the SEAP, the works will include the rehabilitation of the road surface as well as of water and sewer pipelines. The work needs to be completed in 36 months. The participation fee is 2 million lei, and the quality execution guarantee has been set to 10% of the value of the contract without VAT.
Another auction held by the mayoralty of Brăila concerns street maintenance works (pothole filling, asphalting, foundation, pavement and curb repairs, etc), with an estimated value of around 8 million Euros. The deadline for the submission of tenders or requests for participation is May 12th, when the tenders will also be opened.
