EnglishBanca Comerciala Carpatica (Carpatica Bank) (BVB: BCC) has reported a Y2006 net profit of 19 million RON, up by 7.1% yoy. The bank also announced a 100% increase in the number of branches and a 1% market share.
Carpatica was proud to receive the International Arch of Europe Award for Quality from the Business Initiative Directions (Spain).
Collectable interest and related revenue totaled 119.36 million RON, up by 45.19%, whereas interest on bonds and other securities reached 2.37 million RON. Payable interest and related expenses gained 68.57% to 60.52 million RON. In 2007, the bank plans to focus on individuals and especially on mortgage loans for individuals.
Carpatica has a share capital of 115.73 million RON divided into shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. It is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as BCC and has a market capitalization of 740.7 million RON.
