Ceramic tile maker "Cesarom", controlled by Austrian group "Lasselsberger", estimates that this year it will export ceramic tiles worth 1 million Euros to Bulgaria, the equivalent of 50% of its expected exports for this year. The company is also looking to increase its presence in Greece, a market which it entered in 2009.
"In 2010 we plan to begin exporting to Serbia, the Republic of Moldova, Iran, Iraq and South Africa as well as expand our presence in Bulgaria and Greece", the company"s management says. In the medium run, "Cesarom" plans to export its products to other countries such as France and Germany. In 2010, "Cesarom" is looking to make exports account for 5% of its turnover estimated at 38.5 million Euros. In 2009 the exports of the company amounted to 350,000 Euros, or 1% of its turnover of 35 million Euros.
