Czech-based energy group CEZ yesterday announced they had signed a 15-year loan agreement for 262,350,000 EUR under a guarantee issued by the German Export Credit Agency Hermes. The loan was issued by Bayerische Landesbank, BNP Paribas Bank NV, Ceskoslovenska obchodni banka a. s. and KBC Bank Deutschland AG.
According to a press release to BURSA, BNP Paribas acts as structural bank and coordinating bank, while Bayerische Landesbank acts as the agent. CEZ will use the loan to finance the export contract with a multinational supplier of German-made equipment required for the company"s wind park in Dobrogea, Romania, designed with a capacity of 347.5 MW.
