IT service provider Computer Generated Systems (CGS) Romania has started a recruitment campaign to staff the call center slated for opening on the industrial platform Tractorul in May. This is the first company to start operations on the Tractorul platform after the liquidation of the tractor maker.

The US company placed job ads on recruitment sites www.ejobs.ro and www.summerjob.ro seeking customer care consultants for the call center to be opened in Brasov. Requirements include medium knowledge of Microsoft Office, communication skills, medium knowledge of English and at least a high school diploma. The company is also seeking collection officers.

According to CGS Romania Operational Manager Bogdan Ureche, the future 500 call-center employees will begin training in April pending the official opening of the center in mid-May, in the presence of US Ambassador Nicholas Taubman.

Ureche did not specify the value of the investment in Brasov but the company announced last year that 10 million EUR would be invested in opening two call centers this year, one in Bucharest and one in Brasov. In order to open the latter, CGS has rented a 4,000 square meter hall from Flavus Investments
