Shareholders in chemical producer Chimopar SA Bucharest on April 16th decided to increase the company"s share capital by 2,93 million RON, to 23,4 million RON. Jafco Holding Romania will contribute 73,15% of the total amount. The rest of 788.847 RON will be obtained from the subscriptions of other shareholders. The company will issue 1,175 million shares with a face value of 2,50 RON, of which 859.737 shares will go to Jafco Holding Romania.
The EGM decision was made with a cvorum of 88,84% in Chimopar as follows: Jafco" - 73,15%, SIF Muntenia Bucharest - 14,45% and others - 1,24%. Presently, Chimopar has a share capital of 20,46 million RON, divided into shares with a face value of 2,5 RON. Chimopar shares are traded on the "unlisted" category of BSE, as of January 23rd 1998, under the symbol CPR.
