The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) might bring 2.2 million RON to the state budget, money resulted from the 284 fines that CNA imposed on radio and television broadcasting stations and cable companies in the past four years. According to a recent report for 2005-2006, quoted by Rompress, 233 fines totalling 1,7 million RON were payed or sent out. Other 48 fines worth half a million RON are currently on the cause list of law courts, while three fining decisions totalling 12.000 RON were cancelled by law courts. "It seems we are profitable", said CNA president Ralu Filip, who stated that the television stations who get most fines are OTV, Antena 1 and Prima TV. Other television stations that were fined are TVR, Naţional TV, Realitatea TV, B1 TV, Atomic TV and so on.
As far as radio stations are concerned the most-fined are Radio 21, Radio Guerrilla,Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation (SRR), Europa FM and MIX FM.
