EnglishComcereal Constanţa will change its name to Ameropa, which is the name of the Swiss company which is its majority shareholder, provided the shareholders agree to the change on January 24th.
In the first nine months of 2009, Comcereal Constanţa had a turnover of 129.22 million lei (30.8 million Euros), 14.7% higher YOY. The company returned to profitability last year posting a profit of 8.72 million lei (2 million Euros).
Comcereal Constanţa is controlled by Swiss grain and artificial fertilizer distributor Ameropa Holding, which holds 96% of its stock. The Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS), holds 1% of the stock.
