English"Comcereal" Prahova, owned by businessman Ioan Niculae, will take a loan of 8 million lei this year from "Raiffeisen Bank", an amount similar to last year"s, in order to acquire grain and oleaginous plants. The collateral for the loan will include a 44,000 sqm plot of land and the constructions located on it, as well as inventories, receivables and insurance policies, as approved last week by the shareholders of the company.
The company, based in Ploieşti trades farm products and provides services for farmers, such as storage, conditioning and drying of their products.
Last year, "Comcereal" Prahova saw its turnover increase by 70%, from 9.5 million lei to 16.3 million lei, but the company nevertheless posted a loss of 2.7 million lei.
The majority shareholder of "Comcereal" Prahova is Interagro (83.34%), while SIF Muntenia holds 12.45% of the company.
