Shares in Comelf - Bistrita (BSE:CMF) have surged 274.28% since the beginning of the year and 120% since last month. CMF shares peaked at 7 RON on June 12th. "Projections for 2007 indicate a 50% increment in the net profit, which is causing intense trading," said Cristian Tudorescu, the head of the Research Department of Vanguard.
"Given the current price, the ratio between capitalization and profit is 25, which is still not overestimated. It"s important to keep an eye on the half-year results to see if the company maintains these profit expectations," Tudorescu added.
Petru Prunea, the CEO of SSIF Broker, believes the current quotation is the result of the significant profits reported by the company.
