EnglishFuture entrepreneurs need to be nurtured from a young age. The University of National Science and Technology "Politehnica" in Bucharest, through the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Engineering, and Business Management and the UPBizz Entrepreneurship Center, has launched a competition for business ideas and startups as part of the "Start Your StartUP" event, inviting students and pupils who aspire to become entrepreneurs to participate. The organizers have announced that a prize of 5,000 lei will be awarded to the winner in each category - students and pupils. Registration can be done individually or in a team of up to three members and is open until October 12th. The finalists, to be announced on October 20th, will benefit from the guidance of a mentor who will advise them for the final presentation. Business ideas will be presented to the jury and the audience on October 26th and 27th. The presentation will be live (in the form of an elevator pitch) and will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes. The winners will be announced during an event held at "Politehnica" University in Bucharest on October 26th for the student category and on October 27th for the pupil category.
