EnglishSibiu-based construction Concefa SA last year saw its revenue decrease 43%, from 164.9 million lei to 93.4 million lei. However, the company saw its profit increase from 2.9 to 4.4 million lei, according to a notification sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. This comes as a result of a 45% reduction in the company"s expenses (from 160.6 million to 87.6 million lei).
The turnover of company decreased 42%, from 140.7 million to 81.4 million lei.
Concefa announced that in January it completed the merger with Bravcof Braşov which it acquired in April last year. According to the latest reports, the company is controlled by businessman Horaţiu Cercel, who holds 62.8%, and who also serves as general manager of the company.
