EnglishShareholders in Constructii Feroviare Moldova SA - Iasi will convene October 17th to decide on the sale of several plots of land in Iasi and nearby towns: 61,278 sq.m. in Pascani, 94,132 sq.m. in Timisesti, 12,546 sq.m., 23,661 sq.m. and 24,585 sq.m. in Iasi. Another item on the agenda consists of the transfer of a number of assets to various State institutions to offset outstanding debts.
Constructii Feroviare Moldova SA concluded H1 with debts of 68,173,985 RON as follows: 6.1 million RON to suppliers, 38.84 million RON to the State budget, 22.84 million RON to the State social security budget and 380,218 RON to local budgets. The company managed to pay some 410,000 RON owed to the Iasi City budget and to lower the overdue VAT by selling a number of assets.
Established in 1950, Constructii Feroviare Moldova SA is specialized in land transportation infrastructure and sports-related constructions. The State Assets Recovery Authority (AVAS) is the main shareholder with 50.94%, whereas various individuals and companies hold the remaining 49.06%. AVAS will sell their stake to Antrepriza de Lucrari Drumuri si Poduri SA - Iasi for 813,865 RON, plus environmental investments of 221,000 EUR and debts of 56 million RON.
